Lucky Fridays lottery
The NPT Health & Wellbeing Group introduced the Lucky Fridays Lottery scheme for its members.
To participate, you need to join the NPT Health & Wellbeing Group using the membership forms. Only pepole on the Council payroll who join the NPT Health & Wellbeing Group will be eligible to take part in the weekly prize draw. Entries will cost £1 per week (£4.34 per month deductible from your pay) and will be limited to one per person. This means that everyone has the same chance of winning.
Every Friday there will be prizes of £300, £200, £100 and £50.
At the discretion of the NPT Health & Wellbeing Group, and if sufficient people join up, there will be bonus prizes at various times throughout the year. The aim is to give away £5,000 four times a year. At other times these bonuses could be other sums of money or goods.
Winners' information
Cash prizes will not be taxed, so winners will take home the full prize. The more people that take part, the bigger the bonus prizes will be.
The winners will be notified via phone. You can find out who has won from the NPT Health and Wellbeing Group’s Facebook group (a closed group for members only) and there will also be a round-up of winners every month in ‘In the Loop’, our staff newsletter.
How is the scheme funded?
The scheme will be entirely funded by Lucky Fridays Lottery deductions made from the payroll and at no cost to the Council taxpayer. In addition to the weekly prizes, up to 20% of the money raised will be used to fund health and wellbeing schemes for NPT Health & Wellbeing Group members. All other monies raised will go towards running the Lucky Fridays Lottery and prizes.
Weekly draws
The weekly draws take place at 12 noon in room 205 at Port Talbot Civic Centre - if you can't make it, the results will be posted on the intranet as well as our NPT Health & Wellbeing Group Facebook group and a winners poster displayed in staff notice boards.
